Quality Control Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd in the East Region on a full-time basis. This role is fundamental to our manufacturing and logistics operations, ensuring that all products and processes meet our stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our reputation for excellence and maintaining customer satisfaction through rigorous inspection and quality assurance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications
• Perform routine testing and measurements using calibrated equipment and precision instruments to identify defects or deviations from acceptable tolerances
• Document inspection results, test findings, and non-conformance reports with accuracy and attention to detail
• Identify trends in quality issues and communicate findings to production and management teams to facilitate continuous improvement
• Maintain comprehensive records of quality control activities, inspection logs, and corrective actions taken
• Collaborate with production staff to resolve quality discrepancies and implement corrective measures
• Conduct periodic audits of production processes and work areas to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
• Support the investigation of customer complaints and product failures by conducting root cause analysis
• Assist in the development and refinement of quality control procedures and inspection checklists
• Maintain knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices within quality assurance

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within manufacturing or logistics environments
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and statistical process control techniques
• Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometres, gauges, and other testing equipment
• Familiarity with quality management systems, ISO standards, and industry-specific regulatory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify even minor defects or deviations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate quality issues systematically
• Competence in documenting findings clearly and accurately, with proficiency in quality management software or databases
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Physical capability to perform inspection duties, including standing, bending, and lifting as required
• A commitment to maintaining safe working practices and adhering to health and safety regulations
• Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 or certified quality inspector credentials are advantageous

Quality Control

• Current : 7am to 4:30pm
• Future:  1:30pm to 11:00pm (entitled to $8 allowance per shift)
