Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Your keen eye for detail, combined with your expertise in quality systems and inspection techniques, will drive continuous improvement and uphold our reputation for excellence. Aerospace production and manufacturer. Precision machined parts, castings and tube assemblies. PAKO is a clean facility and climate controlled. PAKO employs over 245+ people.

Job Requirements

• Experience with microscopes, indicators and comparator
• Experience with small, tight tolerance parts
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Ability to work safely and follow detailed work instructions
• Good attendance and ability to work efficiently to achieve business goals
• Final Inspection

• Experience with first article, in process or final inspections
• Experience with word and excel
• GD&T, trigonometry

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
• Collect, analyze, and document data related to product quality, inspection results, and process performance for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions aligned with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits to verify adherence to quality systems and regulatory compliance.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, including the use of calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Experience conducting quality audits within manufacturing environments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in analyzing inspection data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Excellent attention to detail paired with strong analysis skills to assess product conformance accurately.
• Effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with cross-functional teams on quality initiatives.
