Quality Control Inspector

Join a dynamic Quality Department team and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.

PURPOSE: Performs incoming, in-process, and finished device inspections and other related activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs incoming inspection in accordance with established SOP and specifications
• Performs in-process and final inspections of manufactured product per established SOP requirements, specifications, and inspection instructions.
• Perform other testing/inspection activities per approved protocol instruction
• Coordinates calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains quality assurance logs.
• Perform work in a manner that ensures compliance with the quality system procedures as related to work activities/responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires High School diploma, certification, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in inspecting/testing components, fabricated parts, subassemblies, product assemblies, and finished devices in the medical device industry.
• Requires written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility.
• Requires extensive experience in using measuring tools including but not limited to Micrometers, calipers, Micro-Vu, Pin Gauges, Tensile Testers, etc.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
