Senior Automotive Quality Control Inspector

MEDO Automotive is a Dubai-based specialist in the restoration, customization, and bespoke build of classic and luxury vehicles, with a particular focus on classic Land Rover Defenders.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to ensure every vehicle meets MEDO’s standards of workmanship, finish, functionality, and presentation before completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles throughout the restoration and build process.
• Conduct quality inspections across mechanical, electrical, bodywork, paint, fabrication, upholstery, and interior work.
• Check workmanship against approved specifications, job cards, and client requirements.
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, damage, alignment issues, leaks, electrical faults, and finishing imperfections.
• Carry out detailed final inspections and road tests before vehicle handover.
• Prepare inspection reports and document findings with photos where required.
• Coordinate with technicians and supervisors to ensure identified issues are corrected.
• Re-inspect completed corrective work and confirm quality before approval.
• Ensure vehicles are properly finished, clean, functional, and presentation-ready.
• Maintain consistent quality standards across all stages of the restoration process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive quality control or vehicle inspection.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience inspecting bodywork, paint, interiors, fabrication, and restoration work is highly preferred.
• Experience with classic, luxury, or customized vehicles is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Ability to identify defects and communicate technical issues clearly.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work closely with workshop technicians and management.
• UAE/Gulf automotive experience is an advantage.
