Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary

QC Engineer required for manufacturing of static equipment (pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, columns, tanks and other process equipment). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, fabrication, welding, NDT, stage wise inspection, pressure testing and final products comply with applicable codes and standards like ASME, TEMA, API, client specifications, approved drawings and QAP/ITP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inspection and Quality Control

• Verify stage-wise inspection during fabrication of Equipment.
• Verify compliance with applicable codes and relevant client specifications.
• Ensure proper implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) or Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).

2. Welding and Fabrication Quality Control.

3. Documentation and Quality Records

• Prepare and maintain QC Reports as per the inspection conducted and ITP

4. Coordination with Third-Party Inspection agency and Client

• Coordinate inspections with third-party inspection agencies, client inspectors.

5. Non-Conformance Management

• Identify and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with production and engineering teams.

6. Continuous Quality Improvement

• Support internal and external audits.
• Implement improvements to enhance fabrication quality and compliance.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
