Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and energetic Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured components and finished products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your keen eye for detail and expertise will help uphold our commitment to excellence, safety, and compliance across all production stages.

Responsibilities

• · Inspect incoming materials, components, and purchased parts for damage, accuracy, quantity, dimensions, and specification compliance.

· Verify material certifications, heat numbers, material grades, and traceability requirements.

· Compare incoming parts and materials against purchase orders, engineering drawings, bills of material, and specifications.

· Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.

· Identify and segregate nonconforming materials and place items on quality hold when necessary.

· Conduct inspections during fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing operations.

· Verify dimensions, tolerances, orientation, component selection, assembly accuracy, and workmanship quality.

· Confirm production personnel are working from the correct drawing revision and applicable specifications.

· Inspect critical operations before subsequent manufacturing steps make verification difficult.

· Monitor manufacturing activities and proactively identify quality concerns on the production floor.

· Stop or hold work when significant quality issues are identified.

· Perform final inspections of completed equipment prior to shipment.

· Verify finished products conform to engineering drawings, bills of material, customer specifications, and purchase order requirements.

· Confirm proper installation and functionality of valves, actuators, motors, instrumentation, tubing, wiring, hardware, tags, coatings, and accessories.

· Evaluate overall product workmanship, appearance, and completeness.

· Witness or perform dimensional, functional, pressure, operational, and performance testing as required.

· Verify all required inspections and testing have been successfully completed before product release.

· Document defects, discrepancies, and nonconformances, including photographs when applicable.

· Prepare and assist with Nonconformance Reports (NCRs).

· Reinspect repaired or corrected work to ensure issues have been properly resolved.

· Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality checklists.

· Communicate quality concerns and resolution requirements with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Management teams.

· Help prevent defective materials from entering production and nonconforming products from being shipped to customers.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
