Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities: Perform In-process and final inspection of division products to determine conformance to specified requirements. Perform quality verification of purchased materials. Perform first article inspection and record inspection results in accordance with established procedures. Review product manufacturing and quality records to verify completeness and acceptability. Input inspection results date into electronic database. Identify, segregate and document nonconforming material. Interface with customer source inspectors and coordinate product acceptance. Perform other Inspection duties as assigned.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

• Must have advance ability to read drawings, specifications, acceptance test procedures.
• Visual and mechanical Inspection methods.
• Hands-on inspection experience using measurement devices such as microscope, calipers, micrometers and various basic recording.
• Performance of first inspection /test and date recording.
• Familiar with Aerospace industry documentation, such as AS9100,Iso, Nadcap . specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in inspection of precision machined parts with anodize and plating.
• Must be proficient in using inspection equipment, such as calipers, micrometers various gauges.
• Familiarity with aerospace plating and processing standards, such as standards for anodizing(Type 1,Type 2,Type3) Chem-film, passivation, gold plating, silver plating,nickel plating,tin plating chemistry etc.
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook desired.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast paced team environment.
• ability to lift 20-30 Lbs.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be able to prove eligibility to work in the United State.
