Quality Control Inspector

How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:

▪ In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records;

▪ Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Coordinator/Quality Control Manager (as applicable) non-conformances reports (where applicable the report shall be issued on PTS software);

▪ Verify/control the correct storage and certification of material and instrumentation calibration certificates;

▪ Witness/perform qualifications of coating processes;

▪ Check surface preparation;

▪ Check and record atmospheric conditions prior to starting of painting operations;

▪ Carry out wet and dry film thickness checks;

▪ Monitor observations of the correct coding cycles;

▪ Monitor wet film thickness;

▪ Verify the correct color-coding and painting;

▪ Perform visuals inspections;

▪ Perform adhesion testing;

▪ Perform penetration testing;

▪ Evaluate impact testing;

▪ Perform visual checks pre-blasting;

▪ Perform visual checks after blasting;

▪ Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all mechanical and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier;

▪In Case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans/ Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records;

-In accordance with the Quality Control Plans, execute the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site issuing the relevant Quality Records;

▪ Verify welding parameters and consumables during operations;

▪ Check availability of welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and qualifications;

▪ Witness mechanical test at laboratory during PQR execution;

▪ Check welders qualifications;

▪ Check the availability and suitability of the welding equipment consumables, pre-heating, welding, heat treatment, bevels, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders (taking any corrective action required), the heat treatment record diagrams;

▪ Ensure that all welding, heat treatment and any hardness testing are in compliance with the relevant codes and specifications;

▪ Perform pipes line up check, ensuring that all installed pipe/fittings are compliant to the correct specification and that the material is in accordance with the specified material traceability requirements;

▪ Carry out visual inspections and issues relevant reports;

▪ Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying tests, controls and inspections documents, ensuring that all welding and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As Built dossier;

▪ In case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant records.

What are we looking for?

• Ability to identify non-conformities and maintain accurate QC records and As-Built documentation
• Work Experience :Must have at least 3 years experience in a similar role within Oil and Gas Industry
• Certificates required: Valid “Welding Inspector - CSWIP 3.1.” and CSWIP BGAS
• Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent).
• Strong experience in QC inspection , particularly welding, piping, coating and painting activities.
• Knowledge of WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, material traceability, inspection/testing methods, and relevant codes/specifications .
