Quality Control Inspector (Fabrication & Welding)

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support our metal fabrication operation. This position is responsible for first article, in-process, and final inspections of machined, formed, and welded components. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading engineering drawings, utilizing precision measuring tools, documenting inspection results, and maintaining quality records.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Inspect machined, bent, and welded components to drawing specifications.
• Complete and maintain quality documentation and inspection reports.
• File and maintain weld inspection records and production inspection sheets.
• Verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, fillet weld gauges, angle gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Review engineering drawings and identify dimensional requirements.
• Work with production personnel to resolve quality concerns and non-conformances.
• Maintain organized quality records and inspection documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control within a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Ability to read fabrication and machining drawings.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, fillet weld gauges, and related measuring equipment.
• Basic CAD or drafting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes preferred.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
