Quality Control Inspector Manager

We are currently hiring a Full Time Aerospace Quality Inspector with at least 3 years of experience. To Apply Submit your resume through Indeed. Candidates without aerospace/government inspection experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00 A.M.- 3:30 P.M.
• Perform First Article Inspections and general inspections using drawings, Specifications, BOMs, inspection plans, and visual work instructions, etc.
• Inspect manufactured product for uniformity, conformance, and record findings.
• Utilize all types of mechanical inspection equipment including Hand tools, Surface Plate, Height Gage, Optical Comparator, Profilometer, etc.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of inspections
• Process and document all Nonconforming Product
• Work closely with various departments to ensure proper documentation is compliant
• Attend production meetings as requested

Requirements:

• Experience with reading/interpreting blueprints, specifications, and contractual requirements
• AS9102 First Article Inspection experience is a must
• Working knowledge of Material and Process Specifications; experience verifying Certificates of Conformance
• Strong organizational, written and communication skills
• Strong work ethics - meet deadlines, multitask, reliable, works well under pressure and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Working knowledge in Windows and ability to maintain electronic quality records on the computer.
• Minimum 3 years Prior Dimensional Inspector experience in an aerospace production environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs
• Able to work with others and be a team player
• Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management system is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
