Quality Control Lab Tech – Work-Based Learning

This role is part of Mohawk Industries Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP) andis only available for qualifying high school students currently enrolled in a High School WBL program. The WBLP with Mohawk is designed to allow students the ability to learn, develop and build onto their industry related skills, while completing a High School curriculum.

Your role:

• Plans re-inspection line activities to meet business goals
• Inspect and disposition non-conforming material daily; properly status off-quality material so it is process in the most effective way
• Assist with quality testing and equipment calibration
• Manage and lead other employees, including providing coaching and training when needed
• Maintain records, reports and other documentation
• Remain safety-focused

Qualifications:

• Current High School Junior or Senior, at least 17 years old
• Good reading comprehension skills
• Expected to follow all safety regulations associated with the position·
• Be available to work 29 Hours per week/max
