Quality Control Laboratory Technician [WEST, office hours] - RRVK

Employment: 6-month contract
Salary: Up to S$2,300 basic per month
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00 AM–5:15 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform QC testing for GeneChip arrays and other products.
• Conduct target preparation for Cytoscan and Axiom.
• Review QC test results and batch records before release to QA.
• Handle pipettes, laboratory chemicals and biological or chemical samples.
• Perform preventive maintenance on QC laboratory equipment.
• Schedule QC testing and target-preparation activities.
• Support laboratory investigations into product or test failures.
• Assist with failure analysis, troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Conduct experiments and analysis for new products and test-method improvements.
• Monitor and trend QC test data.
• Maintain controlled documents and proper laboratory records.
• Provide guidance or training to junior QC employees when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in a science-related discipline is preferred.
• Comfortable handling laboratory chemicals, samples and pipettes.
• Meticulous and able to follow SOPs and quality procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
