Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, and other relevant standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and vision inspection systems to verify dimensional accuracy and mechanical integrity.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documentation to ensure production processes adhere to design specifications.
- Utilize advanced measurement tools like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and vision systems for precise quality assessments.
- Lead investigations into product non-conformities, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP protocols, and other legal requirements governing manufacturing practices.
- Coordinate quality data collection efforts, analyze trends, and prepare detailed reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate training sessions for production staff on quality standards in manufacturing, inspection techniques, and proper use of measurement instruments.

- Manage internal quality audits and prepare documentation for external regulatory inspections.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, and related standards.
- Hands-on experience with calibration and use of precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), QA/QC procedures, and conducting quality audits.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and production documentation.
- Excellent analysis skills to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Strong understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments.
- Basic math skills for data analysis and measurement calculations; proficiency in using manufacturing software such as Calypso is a plus.
Join us as a Quality Control Manager to champion excellence in manufacturing processes! Your dedication will ensure our products meet the highest standards while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
