Salary: ₦800,000 – ₦900,000 monthly

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee quality control activities across raw materials, production processes, and finished products. The successful candidate will ensure that products consistently meet required quality, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting continuous improvement across laboratory and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quality checks for raw materials, packaging materials, production inputs, and finished products.
• Oversee quality testing of flavours, fragrances, beverages, or other FMCG products as applicable.
• Conduct and coordinate organoleptic, microbiological, and other relevant quality tests.
• Monitor product specifications, laboratory procedures, sampling activities, and quality records.
• Investigate raw material non-conformities, customer complaints, and product quality issues, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of HACCP, QMS, and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate external laboratory testing and ensure timely review of analytical results.
• Maintain proper control of samples, quality documentation, reports, and laboratory records.
• Coordinate calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure reliable test results.
• Review and support the development of SOPs, analytical methods, specifications, and quality procedures.
• Participate in product improvement, new product development, method validation, and related R&D activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or a similar role.
• Experience within FMCG, food, beverage, flavour/fragrance, or related manufacturing environments.
• Practical knowledge of quality control methods, laboratory operations, and product testing.
• Working knowledge of QMS, HACCP, food safety systems, and FSSC 22000.
• Experience handling non-conformities, customer complaints, corrective actions, and quality investigations.
• Good understanding of GMP, SOPs, laboratory documentation, and quality standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and reporting skills.

What We’re Looking For

Candidates should have a strong background in manufacturing quality control, with practical exposure to food safety, laboratory testing, QMS, and production quality processes. Experience in flavour and fragrance, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing will be an advantage.

Pay: ₦800,000.00 - ₦900,000.00 per month
