Quality Control Manager

Position Overview:

This role is primarily responsible for conducting routine tests and inspections on fiberglass parts along with data collection. The Quality Manager participates in the development of standardized work instructions, conducts functional tests, and develops inspection templates.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain a quality management system
• Set quality objectives and targets aligned with organizational goal and objectives
• Track progress and performance against established benchmarks
• Ensure organization compliance with ISO9001 and act as the organization's representative for 3rd party audits
• Document all NCMR and RMA claims
• Create work instructions for work cells
• Create a quality manual
• Audit the QMS
• Identify trends, patterns and areas of improvement
• Manage and train quality personnel
• Manage the quality hold area, disposition suspect or non-conforming product

Qualifications

• ISO experience preferred
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have familiarity with tool calibration experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel & Word)
• Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments.
• Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task.
• Previous experience working as a quality control manager

Education/Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have 2-3 years experience working as a quality control manager
