Quality Control Manager

APEX PREMIER ROOFING

Roofing Quality Control Manager

Austin San Antonio Schertz | On-site installation oversight

Apex Premier Roofing is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Quality Control Manager who takes ownership of installation quality and provides top-notch, white-glove service to every homeowner.

Compensation

Earn $300 per completed installation plus $100 tip per day. Our goal is to assign approximately one installation per day, depending on project volume and scheduling. Homeowner tips may provide additional earnings but are not guaranteed. Approved material pickups, additional supplier trips, and services outside the normal installation scope may qualify for additional compensation; scope and payment must be agreed upon in advance.

What you will do

• Arrive before installation begins and perform pre-install and post-install attic inspections.
• Take clear before, during, and after photos, including drone documentation.
• Monitor property protection, materials, installation workmanship, jobsite cleanliness, and final cleanup.
• Keep the homeowner informed in a group text thread throughout the installation day.
• Coordinate with the installation crew and Apex team, address issues promptly, and help keep the project on schedule.
• Complete final quality checks, document punch items, and follow through until the assigned work is complete.

Qualifications & equipment

• Roofing knowledge and the ability to identify workmanship issues; inspection or field-supervision experience preferred.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, attention to detail, strong communication, and dependable attendance.
• Ability to safely access roofs and attics, with reliable transportation and a smartphone for photos and group texts.
• A drone is required. If you do not own one, Apex can provide one initially while you get started, with the expectation that you obtain your own. Operate it safely and meet applicable operating requirements.
