Quality Control Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform routine checking on incoming raw materials, semi-products and finished products throughout the production process to ensure food safety of products.
• Perform routine checking on selected processes to ensure product quality.
• Record the data and report non-conformities on timely basis. Perform data entry for analysis.
• Carry out internal checking on completeness of food safety and quality records done by other operation departments.
• Ensure staff grooming requirement is properly followed.
• Monitor housekeeping and hygiene at workplace.
• Food sample preparation, conduct microbial test, lab result analysis and report preparation.
• Conduct equipment calibration.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Degree holder (or equivalent) in Food Science / Food Technology or related discipline.
• 1 year working experience in food processing QC role is preferred (fresh graduates with related internship experience will be considered).
• Experience in laboratory test particularly on microbiological testing is preferred.
• Knowledge in hygiene control and QC documentation.
• Self-motivated, hard-working and independent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in PC operations, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
