Quality Control Officer

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for enuring Quality control (QC) regarding the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across the production

Responsibilities

· Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, including packaging, weight, and overall finishing.

· Perform sensory evaluation (appearance, texture, aroma, taste where applicable) to verify product acceptability.

· Ensure products are free from contamination and meet food safety and hygiene requirements before approval.

· Conduct raw material inspection and testing as per defined quality standards and specifications.

· Ensure mandatory QC checks are completed before handing over products to cold storage or dispatch.

· Monitor adherence to SOPs and report any non-conformities or deviations to the supervisor.

· Maintain inspection records and prepare daily or weekly reports as per management requirements.

· Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely quality clearance of products.

Job Specifications Qualification: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food industry.
