Trident Consulting is seeking a "Quality Control Scientist” for one of our client in “Round Rock, TX”. A global leader in business and technology services.

Job Title: Quality Control Scientist

Location: Round Rock, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12 month assignment – Temp to Perm Potential.

Shift: Mon-Fri; 8am to 5pm

Pay: $35 - 38/hr W2

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Control Scientist with strong experience in chromatography, HPLC, and GC to perform analytical testing of raw materials, finished products, and in-process samples. The ideal candidate will support quality control testing, method development, stability studies, and product release while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using HPLC, GC, and other chromatographic instruments.
• Conduct stability studies, method development, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Support product release testing and Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations.
• Prepare technical reports, test specifications, batch records, and laboratory documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and perform equipment qualification and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 17034, and applicable GLP/GMP requirements.
• Collaborate with scientists and technicians on testing, technical transfer, and process improvements.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry or a related life science field.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with Chromatography, HPLC, and GC .
• Knowledge of analytical methods, laboratory documentation, and quality systems.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and GLP/GMP environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
