Quality Control Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our team at our facility in Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and operational excellence. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet stringent quality requirements before they reach our customers. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, brand reputation, and the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive quality inspections and testing of products at various stages of the manufacturing process
• Document and analyse quality data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement
• Perform statistical analysis and prepare detailed quality control reports for management review
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards in accordance with industry regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment and testing instruments
• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with established standards
• Train and mentor production staff on quality control procedures and best practices
• Monitor supplier quality to ensure raw materials meet specification requirements
• Prepare comprehensive reports on quality metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, specifically in and FMCG industry (Homecare and Personal Care).
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis
• Proficiency in using quality control instruments and testing equipment
• Certification in quality management systems (ISO 9001) or equivalent quality assurance certifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different departments
• Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management is advantageous
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the facility as required
