Quality Control Specialist

About the role

Homni (PH) Electronics Corp. is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our manufacturing facility in Malvar, Batangas. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and consistency across our electronics manufacturing operations. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is essential to protecting our reputation, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections and functional testing of products at various stages of the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from quality standards
• Utilize quality control equipment and measuring instruments to verify product specifications and dimensions
• Document inspection results, test data, and quality metrics in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
• Investigate product defects and non-conformities, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements
• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports and statistical data
• Perform statistical analysis on quality data to identify trends and areas requiring attention
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, ISO requirements, and customer specifications
• Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions
• Participate in audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification or diploma in quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience working as a Quality Control Specialist or in a similar quality assurance role within manufacturing or electronics industries.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and testing methodologies
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment, measuring instruments, and testing devices
• Familiarity with statistical quality control methods and data analysis
• Understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate quality issues systematically
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to maintain accurate records and produce clear quality reports
• Physical capability to perform inspections, which may involve standing for extended periods and working with various materials
