Quality Control Supervisor

• To ensure that all products, specifically watch straps and related materials, meet desired quality standards and customer requirements through effective quality control procedures, production monitoring, and defect prevention.

• Control and inspect product and watch strap quality throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specified standards and customer needs.
• Plan and implement preventive actions to minimize production issues that do not meet quality criteria.
• Analyze root causes of quality issues and establish effective corrective and preventive solutions.
• Conduct physical and chemical testing on internal and external raw materials as well as finished products at the KL laboratory.
• Contact and coordinate with the customer's quality team via email or Teams Meeting regarding quality issues, standard requirements, and resolution progress.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance, preferably in leather goods, watch strap manufacturing, or related assembly industries.
• Strong background in quality inspection, root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5-Why), lab testing processes (physical and chemical testing), and ISO/quality management standards.
• Good command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate directly with international customers via email and online meetings (e.g., Teams).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle urgent issues effectively under pressure.
