Quality Control Supervisor-Mechanical

Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/ITI
• Experience – 07 to 10 Yrs in quality control, preferably in the manufacturing domain companies.
• Should have Strong knowledge of fabrication
• Must have knowledge Quality department related documentation.
• Must have knowledge of In-Process Inspection, Final Inspection & Incoming Material Inspection.
• Should be proficient in maintaining documentation, report generation, inspection records & data update.
• Must have strong analytical, problem solving skills & decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Must manage and supervise day-to-day Quality Control activities for mechanical components, assemblies and manufactured products.
• Should conduct and monitor incoming & outgoing , in-process and final inspections to ensure products conform to defined specifications.
• Should be able to inspect components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers and other precision measuring instruments and maintain inspection records.
• Must review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
• Able to Identify, document and report quality deviations, defects and non-conformity and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic quality reports, rejection/defect analysis and quality performance data for management review.
