Quality Control Supervisor (Packaging)

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify the quality of packaging materials upon receipt to ensure they meet defined specifications and company standards.
• Conduct in-process and finished goods inspections to maintain packaging quality consistency.
• Record inspection data and prepare quality reports for submission to supervisors and related departments.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Suppliers to identify and resolve packaging quality issues.
• Review and approve packaging samples before mass production.
• Perform compatibility and functionality tests of packaging materials with products.
• Verify accuracy of labels, printing, colors, dimensions, and overall packaging appearance according to approved artwork and standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities related to packaging quality and supplier performance.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems such as ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science.
• At least 3 years of experience in QC/QA for packaging materials, preferably in food, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong knowledge of various packaging materials (plastic, glass, paper, metal, etc.).
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools and inspection instruments accurately.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, or HACCP standards will be an advantage.
