Position Overview

EOSOL is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to support the construction of a utility-scale solar photovoltaic project in the United States.

The Quality Control Supervisor will oversee and coordinate quality activities throughout the full construction life cycle, from site preparation and civil works through mechanical and electrical installation, testing, commissioning, punch list, and final project closeout.

The ideal candidate will have strong field construction experience and a comprehensive understanding of quality requirements across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes within large-scale solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise QA/QC activities in the field throughout the construction life cycle.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and project quality requirements.
  • Perform and coordinate inspections for:
  • Site preparation and earthwork
  • Roads, drainage, foundations, and other civil works
  • Structural steel and tracker installation
  • PV module installation
  • Mechanical installation
  • DC and AC electrical systems
  • Inverters, transformers, and associated equipment
  • Substation and interconnection scope, as applicable
  • Review and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Plans, Method Statements, and inspection procedures.
  • Identify, document, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and quality deficiencies through resolution.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Review material certifications, inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
  • Conduct field inspections and verify workmanship and installation against approved project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
  • Participate in daily/weekly construction and quality meetings.
  • Coordinate with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, Engineering, Commissioning, contractors, and client representatives.
  • Track and support punch list completion and quality closeout.
  • Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, and turnover activities.
  • Ensure all required quality documentation is completed prior to project turnover.
  • Identify potential quality risks early and work with the project team to prevent recurring issues.
  • Provide regular quality status updates, including open NCRs, inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of QA/QC or construction quality experience, preferably on utility-scale solar or large renewable energy projects.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects from early construction through commissioning and final closeout.
  • Strong understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical construction activities.
  • Hands-on experience with NCRs, ITPs, inspections, punch lists, quality documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and applicable codes/standards.
  • Experience working directly with EPC contractors, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and client representatives.
  • Strong field presence and ability to identify construction quality issues before they become project risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced English required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/quality documentation systems.
  • Ability to work full-time on an active construction site and travel/relocate as required by the project.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on a large-scale renewable energy project in the United States.
  • Project-based opportunity with potential for future assignments.
  • Support from an international engineering and energy organization.
