Quality Control Technician (2 yr. degree/experience required)

Bo-Mer Custom Manufacturing is a family-owned plastic and metal fabricator serving a variety of customers in both the US and abroad. Our focus has always been to understand the customer’s vision and work with them hand-in-hand to bring that vision to fruition.

Bo-Mer has an immediate opening for a full-time, first shift Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Team.

Responsibilities:

Perform First Article, in-coming, in-process inspection and verification where required using gauges, micrometers, calipers, coordinate measuring machine and visual inspection.

Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions. Communicate with project engineers to ensure schematics follow the final product.

Perform calibration of inspection equipment as required.

Ensure that the company’s products conform to all specifications and customer requirements.

Capabilities:

2-year Engineering Technical degree or equivalent experience required.

Previous experience with Quality Assurance, 3D parts, and measuring devices such as: height gages, calipers, micrometers, depth gages, verniers and CMM is preferred.

Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings including specs and tolerances with a strong understanding of GD&T.

PolyWorks, CAM2 software, FARO ARM/Laser Inspection experience is highly desirable.

Must have basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Candidate must be dependable and have a strong desire to learn.

Must have passion, self-motivation, great attention to detail, ability to multitask and enthusiasm for learning.

Must have strong communication skills.

PAY IS COMMENSURATE WITH EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour
