WHAT’S INVOLVED?

You will support the Quality Control team to ensure that all raw materials and finished goods comply with relevant food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This role operates Monday to Friday across a rotating roster of day and afternoon shifts.

• You’re a hands-on operator – With an understanding of food safety standards, GMPs and relevant compliance you will support routine QC activities and responsibilities including calibration, testing, environmental monitoring and trouble shooting.
• You’re analytical – You will perform physical, chemical and microbiological analysis of equipment, materials and finished goods according to Quality and Food Safety requirements.
• You’re detailed orientated – You take note of the small things, are accurate and methodical in your approach and escalate any issues in relation to principles, protocols, and processes.
• You work well under pressure – You’ll respond calmly to situations with competing priorities and know how to get the job done in a timely manner.
• You’re a team player – Using effective communication skills you will liaise with team members and key production staff to solve problems productively.
• You’re qualified – This role will require you to have a degree in Food Science, Chemistry or similar.
