Quality Control Technician

Our client, a leading precision manufacturing company , is looking to hire a Quality Control Technician in East Aurora, NY .

Pay Rate Range: $19.17–$22.53 per hour + $2/hour shift differential

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and production requirements.
• Monitor production operations to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Inspect, test, and measure materials and finished products.
• Use calipers, gauges, CMMs, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Accept or reject finished products based on established specifications.
• Identify and remove products or materials that do not meet specifications.
• Recommend adjustments to assembly and production processes.
• Discuss inspection results with production and other responsible personnel.
• Report inspection and test data accurately and maintain quality documentation.
• Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
• Perform gauge calibration and maintain accurate calibration records.
• Learn and assist with CMM and other measuring equipment programming.
• Support continuous improvement and quality control initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Control Technician, or in a relevant role.
• Strong attention to detail and results-driven approach.
• Familiarity with quality testing equipment and inspection systems.
• Experience using calipers, gauges, CMMs, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Quality certifications such as ISO 9000 or AS9100 are a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 4:15 PM–2:15 AM .
• Must be available for overtime and maintain a flexible schedule .
