Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Los Angeles, CA (90039)

Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Duration: 6-Month (Contract-to-Hire)

We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join a fast-paced industrial laboratory in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced analytical testing while working toward a potential permanent position.

What You'll Do

• Perform quality testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to support manufacturing and product release.
• Conduct laboratory testing including viscosity, density, moisture, color, hardness, FTIR, DSC, titrations, and wet chemistry.
• Accurately document, interpret, and communicate test results, identifying and escalating any quality concerns.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Maintain laboratory records, enter results into SAP, and follow established quality and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure timely, accurate testing and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science with hands-on laboratory coursework; OR
• Associate degree in a related field with 2+ years of laboratory/manufacturing experience; OR
• 4+ years of experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or chemical manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and commitment to laboratory safety.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize testing, and safely handle industrial chemicals.

Preferred: Experience with chemical manufacturing, adhesives, resins, analytical instruments, mechanical testing, or SAP.
