Quality Control Technician

The ideal candidate will provide quality control and assurance of products to meet specifications and quality requirements. They will work with other quality control staff and provide support to the Quality Manager. This is a high volume and fast paced position in a climate- controlled facility. Duties will be performed on the manufacturing floor and will include working with various metals. Salary commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Performing first piece, interim and final quality inspection of finished products in accordance with established procedures.
• Assisting the Quality Manager with all matters relating to quality of produced goods.
• Communicating with the Production Manager to schedule, track and conduct first piece, interim and final inspections.
• Inspecting incoming raw material as they are received.
• Reporting any unusual discrepancies or problems promptly to management.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 1 Year Quality Control Experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel required
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints preferred
• Ability to use and read calipers and micrometers preferred
• Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Calipers: 1 year (Required)
• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required)
• Micrometer: 1 year (Required)

• Quality Control Inspectors: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:
