Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00 an hour

We are a secure facility due to hazardous materials. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Production Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Production Worker will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our quality standards before they reach our customers. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in quality control, some production experience, and demonstrated leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and document any defects or deviations from specifications.
• Collaborate with production staff to address and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and production activities.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
• Train and mentor junior quality control staff.
• Assist in the development and improvement of production processes to enhance product quality.
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding quality issues and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
• Use quality control tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control.
• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Proficiency in computer applications for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
• Experience in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Involvement in process improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
