What they need
Test all lighting systems fitted on the truck (headlights, signals, brake lights, clearance markers, strobe/work lights).
Test electrical options and cab amenities (HVAC system, radio, infotainment, telematics, power windows/locks, cruise control).
Inspect aftermarket add-ons, body builds (e.g., dump beds, utility bodies, box trucks, cranes), PTO systems, auxiliary hydraulics, and trailer connection connections to ensure compliance with customer specs.
Document defects and convey it to the workshop controller
Connect diagnostic software and do final checks
Get the vehicles ready for licensing and make sure all the requirements are met
Sign off on completed vehicles to authorize final release for customer delivery.
