We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Coordinator to join our Quality team. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Quality department and plays an important role in maintaining compliance with established quality standards and cGMP requirements.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working with documentation and quality systems, and can work effectively both independently and collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Quality department with day-to-day quality activities and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform physical inspections of incoming finished dietary supplement products to verify compliance with established quality standards.
• Accurately document inspection results in the company’s cloud-based manufacturing and Quality Management System (QMS/ETQ).
• Review and prepare quality documentation, reports, records, and other materials exchanged with contract manufacturers.
• Identify and promptly communicate quality issues to Quality Management.
• Participate in quality investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain and organize finished-product retention samples in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain master copies of controlled documents and assist with document scanning, storage, and archiving.
• Prepare and maintain testing schedules for active raw materials and finished products within the Quality Management System.
• Coordinate the submission of samples to third-party laboratories and prepare required test request documentation.
• Prepare, review, update, and route for approval master specifications for finished products and raw materials.
• Prepare, review, and update packaging specifications and coordinate approval with contract manufacturers.
• Prepare, review, update, and route Master Formula Sheets (MFS) and Certificates of Ingredients (COI) for finished products, as needed.
• Communicate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to obtain required documentation, credentials, certifications, and quality records for new and existing raw materials and finished products.
• Assist with the stability study program as needed.
• Perform document control activities within the Quality Management System (QMS/ETQ).
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support overall quality objectives.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by Quality Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of quality-related experience in a cGMP-regulated environment.
• Associate degree in Chemistry, Nutrition Science, Human Biology, or a related life science field.
• Additional coursework or certification in Quality Assurance or a related field is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good mathematical skills and the ability to work with quantitative information.
• Proficiency with computers and business software; experience with electronic Quality Management Systems is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
