Quality Development Manager

As our Quality Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in setting the direction and elevating the quality management and feed safety systems across the entire supply chain—from Raw Materials, In-Process Control, to Finished Goods and customer delivery. By driving proactive prevention, root-cause investigations, laboratory advancement, and supplier capability development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and develop feed quality and safety standards, management systems, and operating procedures in compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, and relevant statutory/regulatory requirements.
• Manage customer quality complaints, analyze trends and early warning signals, and implement robust corrective and preventive actions to protect customer confidence.
• Lead non-conformance (NC) investigations and problem-solving initiatives using structured methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DMAIC, and FMEA to eliminate recurring issues.
• Elevate laboratory testing capabilities, analytical methods, accuracy, and turnaround lead time to enable timely, data-driven decisions for Production and Procurement.
• Establish supplier quality evaluation frameworks and drive Supplier Quality Development programs to mitigate raw material quality risks.
• Champion and drive a culture of Zero Defect and a Food Safety Mindset across the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) within the animal feed or food manufacturing industry.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience (Department Manager, Assistant Manager, or higher).
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP standards, and feed industry laws/regulations.
• Advanced expertise in root cause investigation techniques (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DMAIC, FMEA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Strong systems thinking with end-to-end supply chain visibility; objective and evidence-based decision-maker with a continuous improvement mindset and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
