Quality, Digital & Analytics Lead

France – EMENA & GB&I Regional Scope

In every role, McCainers are ambitious, curious, and passionate about creating exceptional work experiences - together. With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.

About the role.

Are you passionate about digital transformation, data analytics and building practical solutions that make a real difference to business performance?

As Quality, Digital & Analytics Lead, you will drive the digitalization of Food Safety & Quality (FS&Q) processes across McCain's EMENA & GB&I region. Combining your technical expertise, analytical mindset and project management skills, you will develop and implement digital tools that simplify quality processes, improve data reliability and turn complex data into actionable insights.

Working at both regional and plant level, you will partner with FS&Q teams, IT, Data and global stakeholders to deliver user-friendly solutions that strengthen quality management, support better decision-making and drive operational excellence. This is an opportunity to shape how digital technologies and analytics support food safety and quality across our manufacturing network.

What you'll be doing.

  • Drive digital transformation: Lead the implementation, deployment and continuous improvement of regional Quality Management System (QMS) digital tools, including document management, automated workflows, version control, distribution and archiving.
  • Develop digital solutions: Configure and optimize digital tools to meet business needs, including forms, approval workflows, notifications and automated processes, using platforms such as ManualMaster.
  • Improve quality processes: Implement and maintain user-friendly tools for Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), shopfloor audits, inspections and customer complaint management across the region.
  • Turn data into insights: Develop and improve quality dashboards, KPI reporting and trend analysis to identify patterns, deviations and improvement opportunities, supporting data-driven decision-making at plant and regional level.
  • Leverage data and technology: Use SQL, Power BI and other relevant technologies to connect data sources, automate reporting and improve the accessibility, accuracy and usability of FS&Q data.
  • Ensure data integrity and system reliability: Support the validation of digital tools and reporting processes, checking data quality, consistency and the reliability of interfaces between systems, including SAP.
  • Collaborate across functions: Represent regional FS&Q needs in global digital initiatives, including Change Management and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and work closely with IT, Data, Global Quality and Manufacturing Improvement teams.
  • Support performance management: Consolidate monthly plant KPIs, prepare trend reports and contribute to regional management reviews, helping stakeholders translate findings into concrete actions.
  • Build digital capabilities: Support and coach plant and regional teams in adopting new tools and ways of working, ensuring solutions are practical, user-friendly and embedded in daily operations.
  • Stay connected to operations: Visit manufacturing sites regularly and participate in internal audits, developing a strong understanding of operational realities and ensuring that digital solutions deliver value on the shopfloor.

What you'll need to be successful.

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in digital solutions, data analytics, business intelligence, information systems or a similar role, ideally involving digital transformation projects.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in SQL, with the ability to configure, develop or adapt digital tools to meet business requirements.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting platforms, including dashboard development, KPI monitoring and reporting automation.
  • Experience in database management, data integration and improving data quality, with an understanding of system interfaces and computer system validation.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to lead digital implementations from requirements gathering through deployment, adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to translate data into clear, reliable and actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions, influence without direct authority and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in French is strongly preferred. Dutch is an asset.
  • An interest in Food Safety & Quality, manufacturing operations and continuous improvement. Previous experience in the food industry, knowledge of SAP Quality Management, Six Sigma certification or experience using AI to improve business processes would be an advantage.

About the team.

You will join McCain's regional Food Safety & Quality (FS&Q) organization, reporting to the FS&Q Quality Systems and Food Safety Director.

Working closely with quality teams across manufacturing sites, regional functions, IT, Data, Global Quality and Manufacturing Improvement, you will play a key role in connecting operational quality needs with digital solutions and analytical capabilities.

Although you will not have direct reports, you will have significant opportunities to influence ways of working, drive cross-functional projects and help teams embrace new digital capabilities.

The role is open to being based in France, with regular travel to manufacturing sites across the region.
