Quality Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Responsible for the quality and process improvement in the production;

o Responsible for the standards and procedures implementation;

o Pilot the non-conformity mitigation plan;

o Update and communicate the metrics linked to the quality and non-quality cost;

o Use of the necessary quality tools to solve issue (8D/9S, Root cause analyses, PFMEA…);

o Perform internal audit on products/process;

o Conduct, perform and approve the FAI (First Article Inspection);

o Ensure the management of FOD (Foreign Objects Damage) in the productions;

o Maintains Non-Conformity Report (NCR);

o Maintains the quality database;

o Prepares regular quality reports;

o Organizes and follows action plans for problem solving, containment and corrective actions;

o Maintains control plan/s;

o Active in Continuous improvement initiatives on site.

REQUIREMENTS:

o Engineering Degree – technical background;

o At least 2 years of experience in a production environment;

o Computer literacy - MS Office - Excel and Power Point;

o Flexibility regarding the working shifts (early, day and late shift)

o Good command of English language;

o Knowledge on quality management systems - ISO 9001, EN 9100;

o Knowledge of quality tools for problem solving (A3 report/8D report, Ishikawa);

o Internal auditor qualification – considered as an advantage;

o FAI (First Article Inspection) experience considered as an advantage;

o Knowledge of French language will be considered an advantage;

o Self-disciplined and able to carry out detailed work with minimum supervision;

o Excellent and proven communication skills and ability to establish strong relationships within and outside the company based on trust, confidentiality, and integrity;

o Proactive problem solver;

o A dynamic performer;

o Quick learners, proactive, ready to work on their own and in a team;

o Ability to work under pressure.
