Job Description – Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process material, and finished steel products.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production processes and identify quality issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain quality reports, inspection records, and test certificates.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality problems.
• Support customer complaints, audits, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production, or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in quality, preferably in a steel plant.
• Basic knowledge of steel grades, testing, inspection, and quality tools.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 7 QC Tools is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
