What they need
Role & responsibilities
Strong knowledge of SPM systems (buoy, mooring, anchors, hoses, PLEM, pipelines).
Expertise in NDT methods, welding standards, coating applications, marine construction QAQC.
Familiarity with offshore installation vessels, ROV operations, and subsea engineering.
Strong understanding of API RP 2SK, OCIMF SPM Guidelines, DNV-ST-N001, and project specifications.
Oversee installation of SPM components including buoy, mooring chains, anchors, PLEM, hoses, and subsea pipelines.
Verify offshore installation procedures such as load-out, towing, lifting, lowering, and positioning.
Monitor barge/vessel-based activities and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
Witness and validate pre-commissioning, leak testing, hydrotesting, and system integrity checks.
Review and approve Method Statements, WPS/PQR records, NDT reports, material certificates, and QC dossiers.
Maintain accurate quality records, NCRs, CARs, and surveillance reports.
Ensure compilation of final As-Built Quality Documentation / Final Dossier.
