Quality Engineer

Responsibilities as follows:

HR responsibilities:

·       Follow ADC policy and also Employee Rules and Responsibility.

·       Ability to lead, coach and develop QC operation team including Inspector, Leader, Supervisor for awareness and knowledge of Quality perspective and Teamwork with Good relationship.

·       Good Creative and Thinking idea to improve any roadblock for drive be smooth.

·       Boldly speak-up to share ideas for Safety and any improvement without fear.

·       Able to understand with strong Risk assessment process for Safety evaluation in anywhere in ADC Factory.

·       Able to coach Quality systematic including ISO9001 / ISO14001 / IATF16949 to Internal & External relate team aware to following and avoidance any violation and compliance.

Knowledge responsibilities

·       Ability to focus on using statistics and data analysis techniques to improve in Manufacturing processes.

·       Able use quality tools to make products improvements and understand how to conduct audits, lead the team of auditors, and resolve audits.

·       Able to interact with STA and Suppliers to provide Quality requirements and Customer requirements to suppliers.

·       Lead responsibility to focus on attaining root cause corrective and preventive actions from internal working team provide and submit to Customers.

·       Responsibility to interact with Customers when customers encounter product problems, those complaints were sent to Warranty team or directly get from Customers site that must be uses CAR or 8D principles to resolve the issue.

·       Responsibility set up product and process inspection for inspection needs, determine sampling inspection sizes, Inspection criteria’s, Boundary sample and align with write procedures that included selecting and applying the correct measuring tools using.

·       Good knowledge about Quality systems & Systematic including ISO9001 / ISO14001 / ISO45001 / IATF16949 and Lead to consider update systematic concern to align with compliance and able to roll-out with Training & Coaching to Internal & External relate team aware for following to avoidance violation and compliance.

Functional responsibilities

·       Lead to prepare Quality readiness 4M/1E with internal team follow the Quality launch plan each program as responsibility or get assignment.

·       Responsibility to develop Quality Engineering process control plan included Parts incoming Quality check sheet, Parts Boundary samples, Products inspection both of In-process and Final Quality check sheet including General item check and Critical SC/CC point including Cut/Crimp for wiring harness, Welding, Fitment, Tightening Torque in each of Programs to align with specification of Engineering release.

·       Ability to work with External cross functional team including Each Program Lead / Production & ME / STA / PDD / Purchasing to preparation Quality readiness control plan and avoid, reduce parts Quality issue’s fault from Suppliers with NCR Quantity reduction is significant improve in each yearly.

·       Lead responsibility to drive quality performance with working team in Production line, ME, STA, PDD Engineering Program lead and also small volume build via systematic tools including communication feed forward and backward, Problem solving with 5Whys, Fishbone diagrams, Pareto, 8D analysis etc...  until meet yearly Goals Quality KPI objective target.

·       Responsibility for customer service and lead with working team to solve the issue from Customer feedback via Warranty issue communication forum until submit CAR, 8D report to Customer and close.

·       Good teamwork with shopfloor team both Internal and External sections to be smoothly working.

·       Good knowledge and take lead to preparation APQP / PPAP package with some Program that customer is required to submit these packages to them before start Mass production.

·       Recover company benefit with cost charged back from suppliers when there is any trouble issues occurred in ADC Manufacturing plant.

·       Certified Internal auditor level for ISO14001 / ISO9001 / ISO45001 / IATF16949 and continuous do self-develop with yearly plan internal audit.

·       Monitor to continue improving and maintain KPI objective target as responsibility or get special assignment.

Financial Responsibilities:

·       Aware and review to control for department spend budget plan as deployed from Head of department.

·       Responsibility to forecast next year budget plan requires each yearly at least no over than Q3 of current year.

·       Responsibility must be recovery cost charge back every activity as need to support each Suppliers for containment solution cost occur in ADC.

·       Continuous improve for cost reduction with finding any new innovation launch and apply to implement use.

Internal interaction:

Cross functional team including STA, Purchasing, PDD Engineering, Parts service team, Warranty team, Production team, ME, Maintenance team and another related team.

External Interaction:

Customers, Suppliers, 3rd party for Surveillance audit ISO14001 / ISO9001 / ISO45001 / IATF16949

Background and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.

• Able to support and join activities of corporate social responsibility and social relationship internally.
• Special assignment or any Ad-hoc assignment from Direct Manager and Head of department.
