Job Summary

The Quality Engineer is responsible for conducting inspections, testing, monitoring, and analysis to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and company quality standards. The role involves evaluating quality data, identifying non-conformities, supporting corrective actions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and testing of printed, laminated, and slitted products based on quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor and document quality inspection and test results accurately and promptly.
• Analyze quality data and identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Investigate quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support process capability studies and statistical analysis of quality data.
• Prepare quality reports and maintain quality records and documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, retention, and disposal of inspected samples.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure readiness for quality evaluations.
• Assist in troubleshooting activities and product evaluations.
• Support continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Quality Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, or any engineering course.
• At least six (6) months of experience in a manufacturing environment; packaging industry experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Systems is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or OJT experience are welcome to apply.
