Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist in IQC/IPQC/OQC/QS tasks.
• Supervise and assist in parts rejection and modification process.
• Supervise and assist in data collection for internal/external rejects & errors.
• Develop and maintain Quality Control specification and procedure.
• Work with Engineering, Production and Suppliers to understand the root cause of internal/external rejects & errors.
• Work with Engineering, Production and Suppliers to contain/minimize impact due to internal/external rejects & errors.
• Prepare IQC/IPQC/OQA report for management and stakeholders.
• Review IQC/IPQC/QOA data & reports to identify process/product improvement opportunities.
• Set expectations and manage quality performance of external suppliers. Perform supplier audit when necessary.
• Proactive implementation of Preventive & Corrective action implementation.
• Work with purchasing to source for new inspection tools/equipment.
• Prepare (or assist) 8D report for customers and stakeholders.
• Develop training material and conduct internal training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field; Diploma holders with at least 5 years of experience in the Quality field are also encouraged to apply. (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Basic technical knowledge in a related field is an advantage
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Responsible, proactive, and self-motivated
• Fast learner with a positive working attitude
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
