Quality Engineer

Objective

Performing quality inspection on all incoming/outgoing goods, product warehouse allocation and make sure quality policies & procedures are followed in compliance with company directives and regulations. Establishing and maintaining the companies’ quality system (ISO) and related approvals. Support other departments with quality related matters and perform continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Tasks

• Perform Quality Inspection reporting on all Incoming and Outgoing Goods
• Issue complete Non-Conforming Reports
• Provide Quality Solutions for NCR/OSD Cases
• Contact point to any stakeholder including customer and suppliers relating to Quality Issues, seek remedial actions to ensure customer’s satisfaction
• Organize, Coordinate, plan and prepare Customer- and Third Party Inspections
• Ensure and improve safety and correct warehouse allocation of all products
• Responsible for the condition of goods stored in the warehouse
• Establishing and maintenance of quality systems (ISO), ensuring effective performance and auditing quality performance/systems to ensure compliances
• Support internal and external audits by Regulatory bodies and customers
• Review and prepare quality documents and procedures
• Manage Quality Control staff
• Follow up and post-audit activities
• Update of company procedure and capability list
• Liaise with other departments on quality related matters
• Perform continuous improvement activities

Generic Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Quality Management / equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance
• Possess a driving license
• Basic Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word / Excel) and Knowledge of ERP systems
• Being able to use inspection equipment

Preferences

• Located in Chonburi Province

• Experience in Steel Piping materials

• Experience in Oil & Gas

• Familiar ASTM/ASME Standard
