Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily quality inspection activities in the CNC machine shop.
• Ensure all products comply with customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform First Piece Approval (FPA), Last Piece Approval (LPA), and in-process inspections.
• Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap levels and implement corrective actions.
• Inspection & Measurement
• erify dimensional inspection using:
• Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Thread Gauges, Plug Gauges, Ring Gauges
• Documentation
• Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
• Ensure Control Plans, SOPs, Work Instructions, and Inspection Standards are followed.
• Prepare daily quality reports and rejection analysis.
• Audit & Compliance
• Support Internal Audits and Process Audits.
• Participate in VDA 6.3, MACE, Layered Process Audits (LPA), and customer audits.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
• Educational Qualification
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience. Minimum 2 years as Quality Supervisor
