Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards

• Monitor and improve quality performance across sheet metal fabrication, stamping, machining, and electrical cabinet assembly processes.

• Conduct inspections, testing, and verification of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.

• Analyse quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Handle customer complaints, non-conformities, and quality-related issues, including investigation and follow-up.

• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, control plans, work instructions, and other quality records.

• Conduct process and product audits to ensure compliance with company requirements and applicable standards.

• Support new product introduction, process validation, and continuous improvement activities.

• Monitor quality KPIs, analyse trends, and recommend actions to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.

• Coordinate with suppliers on material and component quality issues when required.

• Support internal and external audits, including ISO-related requirements.

• Provide guidance and training to production personnel

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment, preferably in sheet metal, stamping, machining, or electrical/electronic manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, and CAPA.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and manufacturing quality processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other inspection tools.
