Quality Engineer

Silverstrand is seeking an experiencedQuality Engineerexperienced in Civil Construction.

Base Salary + Super + Vehicle + KPI Bonus + (Allowances/ Uplifts if working away)

SEQ based role, however ideal candidate willing to travel as required for project locations - DIDO/ FIFO.

Experienced working on Bridge, Earthworks, Roads, Pipelines, Renewable projects.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for, but not limited to;

• Implement and maintain project Quality Management Plans (QMPs).
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and verification activities.
• Prepare and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
• Maintain quality records, registers, and document control systems.
• Coordinate quality audits and manage corrective actions.
• Review subcontractor quality documentation and monitor compliance.
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Support project teams with quality-related training and guidance.
• Assist with project handover and completion documentation.

About You:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Quality Engineer, Project Engineer, or Quality Assurance role within civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, earthworks, renewable energy, water, mining, or utilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience managing inspections, testing, and quality documentation.
• The ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and construction teams.
