Quality Engineer

About the role

Quality Engineer/Quality Executive role focused on developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure products meet company and industry standards. The role involves ensuring adherence to ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications while maintaining comprehensive documentation and leading quality audits.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure products meet company and industry standards
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, including test results, certifications, and compliance records
• Lead internal and external quality audits, identifying areas for improvement
• Perform regular inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and final products
• Investigate quality issues or defects in materials, products, or processes and conduct root cause analysis
• Work closely with production, engineering, design, and supply chain teams to integrate quality considerations at all stages
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to monitor performance and trends
• Address customer concerns related to product quality and ensure timely resolution
• Identify potential risks related to product quality and develop risk mitigation strategies

About you

• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methods
• Advanced and comprehensive knowledge of Quality concepts and tools such as 7 QC tools, FMEA & DMAIC
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at different levels of the organization and with customers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and working knowledge of techniques
• Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control and CCL Design Production processes
• Proven experience in a direct customer facing role
• Proven experience of working/managing external audits
• Proven experience/understanding of implementing and interpretation of Quality Standards, including ISO9001, IATF16949 & ISO14001
• Frequent travel to customer sites approximately 30%
