Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Engineer to ensure civil works meet required quality standards, specifications, and project expectations. The role involves site inspections, material checks, documentation, and coordination with project teams to maintain quality throughout execution. Quality control engineers in civil projects typically monitor construction activities, verify compliance, and manage inspection and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is performed as per drawings, specifications, and approved method statements.
• Monitor and verify quality of civil construction materials and workmanship.
• Review and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection test plans, and quality standards.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results, calibration records, and non-conformance reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project managers for resolution of quality issues.
• Track and support closure of NCRs, observations, and corrective actions.
• Arrange or coordinate third-party testing when required and analyze results.
• Support internal audits and quality compliance activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil construction quality control practices.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of site inspections, material testing, and NCR closure.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Hands-on experience in civil QA/QC or site quality control.
• Familiarity with checklists, inspection records, and testing procedures.
• Ability to work closely with site and project teams to maintain quality standards.
