Quality Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspection of CNC/VMC machined components.
• Inspect components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Handle measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Thread Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
• Read and interpret 2D drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and machining specifications.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
• Identify dimensional and process-related defects and coordinate with production for corrective action.
• Monitor quality during CNC/VMC machining processes.
• Conduct First Piece Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and Final Inspection.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
• Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality problems.
• Maintain rejection, rework, and customer complaint records.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures.
• Support internal and customer audits when required.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and basic problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 will be an advantage.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
