Quality Engineer

该职位来源于猎聘 Role Summary The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance. This role works closely with the supplier and internal stakeholders to implement robust quality processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure all products meet SLB and client expectations before shipment. The position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who is proactive, technically strong, and confident in holding firm on quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal Quality Control Plans aligned with SLB and client requirements
• Ensure all QC requirements and QA tasks are completed prior to product shipment
• Monitor and report on quality performance using defined KPIs and performance indicators
• Provide trend analysis on quality issues and drive data-based decision making
• Investigate product non-conformances and coordinate with subject matter experts to resolve issues
• Lead root cause analysis and ensure corrective and preventive actions address fundamental causes
• Coordinate deviation and non-conformance processes across internal and supplier teams
• Create, classify, and lead Product Quality (PQ) incident investigations
• Utilize statistical quality tools and process control methods to reduce total cost of quality
• Contribute to internal and supplier Quality Improvement Plans
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and external regulations
• Deliver QMS training and ensure appropriate competency levels across the team
• Mentor inspectors and documentation specialists to strengthen quality execution
• Continuously improve understanding of customer expectations, supplier performance, and industry standards Qualifications & Experience
• 5–10+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality
• Background in welding, electrical systems, or complex mechanical assembly preferred
• Experience working in supplier or contract manufacturing environments strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field Technical / Functional Skills
• Strong understanding of QMS frameworks and quality processes
• Experience with inspection methods, testing procedures, and quality documentation
• Proficiency in root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, etc.)
• Experience with statistical quality tools and data analysis
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs Leadership / Behavioral Expectations
• Detail-oriented and disciplined in execution
• Proactive in identifying and addressing risks before escalation
• Confident and firm in upholding quality standards
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
