Quality Engineer

Total Experience required: 3 years plus
Industry type: Manufacturing/Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

1. In-Process & Final Inspection:

• Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products at various stages of

manufacturing.

• Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections as per drawings,

specifications, and inspection plans.

• Ensure products meet applicable quality standards and customer requirements.

2. Customer / Client Inspection

• Coordinate and conduct product inspections when customers or third-party

inspectors visit the factory.

• Prepare required inspection documents, samples, reports, and test records.

3. Quality Documentation

• Prepare, maintain, and control inspection reports, test reports, checklists, and

other quality records.

• Maintain proper traceability and records of inspection activities.

• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for all quality-related records.

4. Calibration Management

• Coordinate and maintain calibration of measuring and testing equipment as per the

defined calibration schedule and applicable standards.

• Maintain calibration records, verify calibration certificates, and ensure timely

action for equipment due for calibration or found out of calibration.

5. ISO & Customer Documentation

• Prepare and maintain documentation related to ISO & Quality Management Systems.

• Support preparation of customer-specific quality documents, QAP/ITP, dossiers,

and other quality records as required.

• Ensure documents are maintained as per internal procedures and customer

requirements.

6. NCR & Corrective Action

• Assist in investigating customer complaints and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

• Coordinate with concerned departments to identify root causes and implement

corrective and preventive actions.

• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure of NCRs.

7. General Quality Activities

• Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, and other departments on quality-

related issues.

• Support internal audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement activities.

• Ensure compliance with applicable drawings, specifications, standards, and

procedures.

Desired Candidate profile:

• Basic knowledge of quality inspection and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, measuring & testing
• instruments.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of ERP & MS Office.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
